I literally ordered this camera the day it was released. Nikon dropped the ball and I've been waiting since February. There are tonnes of people on the list and yet only 2, yes, TWO Nikon D800's were shipped to Henry's camera store. I was one of those lucky two. Now the fun begins (and the expense of upgrading lenses, software, accessories. I bought an SD card today that cost cough cough, $200 for a 16 GB card. Let's see how this goes. I hope it's worth the wait, and it's weight, in gold.
