We met Cheryl & Dave through our former clients Krissy & Don. You've probably heard a lot about them. They're a pretty big deal to us so anyone related to them is of equal importance.
We hung out together at New Years, Krissy's 30th and last weekend's wedding. They were engaged a few short months back and have planned the most fabulous vintage DIY'ers dream wedding.
Everything about them is lovely, and simply understated. We photographed the things that represented them...their home, their vegetable garden, their dog, each other and we did so in a rustic and simple way. I've learned through my limited experience in photographing, that sometimes less is indeed more. Their engagement session started off with some raindrops and made for the most serene water and perfect light. It's one of my favourites.
